Madeline is now a Jew. Ok, so she's always been Jewish, but now it's official. Madeline Juliana was named Mazal Ya'akovah this morning at her Naming. The ceremony was beautiful and we were flattered with how many of our family and friends attended. A special "thank you" goes out to Faye for preparing some of the delicious food and to my family for traveling and helping set up (and keep me sane). Love you all! Here are some photos and a little video from the naming:

Three's Company
Not only did Isabella turn the big 0-3 on April 8th, her Papa turned the big 6-0!
At 3 years old, her stats are as follows:
Height: 34 1/2" (although I think she's taller - she wouldn't stand up straight)
Weight: 26.5 lbs.
Size: 2T (finally)
What a birthday she had this year. On her actual birthday we went to Tot Shabbat where they sang her Happy Birthday both in the classroom and in the service. The week before she'd been shopping with her Aunt Fonda (also an April 8th birthday) and her cousin Carlye. She was allowed to pick any outfit/dress she wanted. Boy did she take full advantage. She picked an adorable dress with a matching bracelet and bow. Convincing her to save it for her birthday was virtually impossible. She put it on a couple of times, but fortunately managed to keep it pristine until her actual birthday. Needless to say, she wore it to school for her birthday. Her Daddy even surprised her by making an appearance at Tot Shabbat. She was SO surprised and excited when he walked in. It was adorable. Here are some photos and a short video from her actual birthday:
