Isabella just celebrated her 20 month birthday. Because she hasn't had a well visit since 18 months, we're not exactly sure of her height and weight. We know her weight is around 21 lbs, give or take 8 oz. She is more talkative than ever. Her vocabulary is nearing 150 words. Some of her new words and phrases are:
Me: Where is Daddy?
Isabella: ah wook (at work)
She knows we wash her "bahdy" (body) (and can label EVERY body part) during her bath and dry it afterwards. She recognizes when someone's hair is wet (wet) or dry (die). She is able to verbalize what her food preferences are: ah joos (apple juice), mik (milk), appos (apples), cahncakes (pancakes), kini (zucchini), noonles (noodles), etc. She tells people "Appy Anka" (Happy Chanukah). She counts to ten, only leaving out the number 6. She dictates what song she wants to hear and really does a great job singing along. She knows the rhyming words in most of her books. Instead of saying "a wuh wuuuuh," she now clearly says, "I yuvvue." It's adorable. For some reason all of her "s" sounds are "y's" and all of her "f" sounds are "w." For example: swimsuit is "yimyut," shower is "yower," fish is "wish," socks are "yocks" and shoes are "yous." I'm not really sure where that comes from, but it sure is cute.
