We just got back late last night from a short trip to KC. It was definitely for a wonderful occasion. My grandparents, Raymond and Radine, were celebrating their 64th anniversary, her 84th birthday and his 86th birthday. They were being honored at the synagogue Friday night, so we made the trip in Friday morning. Not only did we fit in a meal at Fiorella's Jack Stack BBQ, we visited "Papa" at work and got to meet "Aunt" Meagan's 4th grade students. Isabella was a little ham at the celebration that night. Good thing we don't keep kosher :). She was running around flirting with everyone and showing off. It was adorable (unfortunately, no pictures were taken - sorry). Saturday Isabella got to play with her cousins Noah and Sam Beznovsky at their new house. She had fun, but was past due for a nap, so she got a bit cranky towards the end. My mom and Meagan were nice enough to watch Isabella so David, my Dad and I could go to an impromptu Royals' game. At least the stadium is nice...the team in it sucks. We had fun anyway. Sunday we had a brunch to continue the "Rays'" celebrations. Isabella was great until the very end. She really likes showing off...
